Wisma Atria is located at the heart of Singapore’s shopping district, Orchard Road. It is perhaps one of the most renowned shopping centres in Singapore having been located and operating here for many years since it was built and launched in 1986. Today, it is home to Japanese department store Isetan as well as a string of renowned and luxurious brands and part of the extremely vibrant and attractive shopping haven of the region.

Wisma Atria recently underwent a facelift and launched its new facade, giving it a whole new look and more contemporary and modern feel for the shoppers. The project cost S$31 million and took about a year to complete where the final product was a more crystallized impression. It looked chaotic and yet the overall flow of the structure makes it look complete and way more energized than it used to look.

The structure illuminates at night through its articulately crafted and designed down-lights over its 123meter long facade and now the retailers are more visible from the outside. Anyone who had visited Wisma Atria before would know that it is often hard to imagine what was available in the shopping centre except the more renowned Isetan.

The overall design of the new Wisma Atria facade was that it looked like a jewellery box and when opened will reveal hidden gems and treasures. This creates the impression of intrigue which was designed to draw more visitors into its premises and continues to play its role in contributing to the dynamic marketplace for shoppers along Orchard Road.
