KL Tower (Kuala Lumpur Tower) stands at 421 meters above ground and is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This tall tower is an iconic structure which is mainly used for broadcasting and telecommunications.
Apart from the communication equipment and facilities, KL Tower houses a revolving restaurant and a viewing deck that allow visitors to enjoy the sights of Kuala Lumpur in a panoramic manner while there are shops at the deck that sell snacks and souvenirs. The antenna at KL Tower reaches the peak of the height while the roof of the KL Tower pod is actually 335 meters.
KL Tower is a popular tourist attraction in Kuala Lumpur where there are many events held throughout the year. It is currently the seventh tallest telecommunication tower in the world where it is primarily divided into 5 segments. The base is made up of basement floors while the ground floor is used to welcome visitors. There are eateries and souvenir shops as well as the connecting lift towards the upper floors.
