The Group has already expanded its product offerings to include retail and office spaces with the development of Tropicana City, and will soon move into other sectors such as hospitality and education.
In addition to exploring other sectors, the Group is also widening its geographical reach and scope. Within the Klang Valley, Dijaya is planning to launch Tropicana Bayou in Balakong, Tropicana Hills in Subang and Tropicana Heights in Kajang. Down south in Johor, the Group launched a flagship, mixed use development, Tropicana Danga Bay, in the first economic corridor of the country – Iskandar Malaysia. Similarly, in Penang, the Group entered into a joint venture agreement with Ivory Properties Group Berhad to develop a mixed development project in Bayan Mutiara. These projects give the Group an important foothold in the rapidly growing northern and southern region besides replenishing the Group’s land bank for future property developments.
